The Episcopal Preaching Foundation seeks Executive Director to help promote, encourage and improve preaching in the Episcopal Church. This position reports to the Board of Directors through the EPF Chairman.

The Executive Director will: |
1. Plan and direct the annual Preaching Excellence Program for seminarians
|
2. Develop and implement preaching conferences at the national, diocesan and local levels for parish clergy and non-traditional students
|
3. Compile and edit the EPF's annual book of excellent sermons
|
4. Oversee the EPF's website and other efforts to aid PEP graduates and others in their lifelong preaching careers
|
5. Administer a systematic and effective program of fundraising, in support of the annual budged and to increase the EPF endowment, in collaboration with the EPF Board
|
6. Administer the EPF's ongoing operations and finances
|
7. Publicize the work of the EPF throughout the Episcopal Church, and work with Bishops, seminary Deans, homiletics faculty and other stakeholders to identify ways to enhance the mission and effectiveness of the EPF
|
The successful candidate will be an ordained priest in the Episcopal Church with a deserved reputation for excellent preaching and demonstrated skills in administration and fundraising. A wide knowledge of and significant contacts within the Episcopal Church is expected. The office of the EPF is located in Springfield, NJ, and the Executive Director will work from this office. Compensation is negotiable.
